About the project

Kurro Spa stands in a pine forest at Uusküla in Ida-Virumaa, Estonia, close to Lake Peipus. I photographed the building by drone on my own initiative in September 2026. What interested me was how the building blends into the forest: the low wings are covered with green roofs, the facades are timber and only the glass tower rises above the trees.

The wide panoramas show the complex against the forest and the lake. The views from directly above bring out the shape of the building: the star-shaped green roof, the courtyards and the ring-shaped wing. Closer views show the tower, the terraces and the planting. The images are available for licensing.
