I am Arvo Juhkov, a commercial real estate, architecture and drone photographer from Ida-Virumaa, Estonia. I have been photographing since 1999.
I photograph office buildings, shopping centres, industrial sites, hotels and urban space. My clients are developers, property owners, industrial companies and municipalities who need images for sales, leasing and promoting their region.
How I work
I photograph architecture with tilt-shift lenses so that the lines of the building stay straight and the volumes true. A drone shows the property together with its location and surroundings. I choose the time by weather and light, because the same building looks completely different at midday and during blue hour. Every image is post-processed: colour, perspective and details.
Background
I studied informatics at Tallinn University of Technology and have worked in marketing and design for more than 20 years. That is why I think already while shooting about where the image will be used: in a listing, on a website or in print.
I live in Jõhvi municipality and photograph in Ida-Virumaa, Tallinn and elsewhere in Northern Europe. I work in Estonian, Russian and English.
